The following is a mock up double page spread. I decided not to use this or a similar double page spread for my real project because of the reaction from my focus group. Most people thought it wasn't particularly interesting, or professional looking. Carrying out this mock up and receiving feedback helped me to decide how my double page spreads should look and what I should include in them.

To help me visualise and give myself a vague idea as to what the layout I have chosen might look like, I have completed some flat plans:
